United Learning – Cambridge Cluster
We are a cluster of five schools in the South of Cambridge with a local, national and international reputation for educational excellence. We pride ourselves on an innovative approach to teaching and learning and a commitment to high standards for all.
The close geographical proximity of our schools enables our highly collaborative approach. Our cluster began as Parkside Federation in 2005 when Parkside Community College joined Coleridge Community College to form one of the first Federations in the country.
The Federation converted to a Multi-Academy Trust, Parkside Federation Academies in 2011, at the same time opening a new sixth form Parkside Sixth. In the last three years, we have also opened an innovative new secondary school, Trumpington Community College and welcomed Cambridge Academy for Science and Technology into our Trust.
In 2018 we renamed our Trust as Cambridge Academic Partnership. The Galfrid School joined the partnership in the summer of 2019.
In September 2019 Cambridge Academic Partnership joined the United Learning group of schools.
We are proud of what our cluster of schools has achieved so far, but we are ambitious for the future and want to give our schools every possible opportunity to further improve the education we offer our students.
We look forward to welcoming you to our schools.
