We are seeking a teaching assistant to join our strong team. Teaching assistants support students learning both in the classroom and (occasionally) through withdrawal to work in other spaces such as the Learning Centre and the school’s ‘Engage’ facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to work with young people, be an effective communicator and will be able to motivate young people to achieve their potential. A positive, can-do approach is a must too.

We are recruiting a part-time SEND administrator to support our busy and successful team at this innovative new school, based in a well-equipped purpose-built new area, the Hub. Candidates will need to be efficient, organised, and to have good written and spoken communication skills and numeracy. Strong IT skills are essential as much of the school's admin is done electronically. Understanding of Special Educational Needs is advantageous but training and mentoring can be given.

An opportunity has arisen for a suitably skilled and experienced applicant to join the multi academy trust as a Design and Technology Technician, to support the teaching of DT and Food Technology.

The post-holder will maintain the departmental tools and equipment and the teaching and stock rooms. They will ensure that these areas are safe, clean and orderly environments in which teaching can take place most effectively, with support provided during lessons for the teaching staff and students. They will assist in the purchase of equipment, resources, ingredients as necessary in collaboration with the budget holder.

The successful candidate will have excellent organisational and time management skills. They will be able to set up equipment and materials efficiently within a set timeframe. They will need to possess, or acquire (with help from the school) the required level of knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety legislation and Risk Assessment. Previous experience in the use of machinery would be advantageous.
