Cambridge Academic Partnership is a multi-academy trust based in Cambridge which operates three Secondary schools, an International Sixth Form and a specialist Science and Technology 14-19 Academy.

This position will be based at Cambridge Academy for Science and Technology (CAST).

CAST is an educational establishment that, as a University Technical College, provides opportunities unlike any other for the scientists and technologists of the future. Situated in the heart of the Cambridge Biomedical Campus, near Addenbrookes Hospital, it is surrounded by world leading academic and commercial organisations.

Working with the Head of Pastoral Care, you will provide pastoral support to students and families, also delivering administrative support across a range of tasks, which allow teaching staff to maximise their capacity to deliver the curriculum. Working with staff, families, students and third party agencies, you will support the well-being of all students ensuring the achievement of learning potential.

This person should have caretaking experience, be prepared to work across four campuses as and when directed by the line manager. The position may require some twilight shifts An understanding of caretaking maintenance rolls i.e. decorating, handyman issues, attending to small plumbing jobs and be alert to requisitions posted to the caretakers on the web help desk. There will be setting and unsetting of meeting venues and exam tables when required. Deliveries to the schools require sorting and distribution This job requires full understanding of site security.
