Adrian Kidd

Adrian started his teaching career at Tendring Technology College, Essex. Here he quickly established himself as a Head of Year and Director of Learning, contributing to moving the school rapidly to Good and beyond. He then joined Clacton County High School as Assistant Principal at a time when the school was experiencing significant difficulty. Within four years Adrian supported the school’s progression to Good with Outstanding and it remains in the top 2% of schools nationally for progress outcomes. Adrian’s experience in supporting school improvement led to Deputy Headship at Harwich and Dovercourt High School in 2013, another challenging coastal school. The school achieved its first ever Good in 2016, with areas of Adrian’s responsibility described as Outstanding. Adrian has recently supported the school’s move into a new multi-academy trust. His partnership work in north-east Essex has influenced how vulnerable students are better supported by schools and specialist providers alike.

Adrian is a Future Leader and has a well-established network of forward-thinking and innovative educational professionals. He is focussed on bringing 21st-Century educational excellence to Trumpington Community College and setting it as a benchmark for others.

Adrian will be taking up his first Headship at Trumpington Community College in September 2017.
